This beach is popular for its its beautiful waves and the boulders framing it. Locals and tourists alike like to spend the afternoons here – many set up camp for the day with food and drinks. You can easily stroll around the beach, climb over the boulders and even make the way to the neighbouring nude beach Sandy Bay (never hike alone!) The residental luxury neighbourhood is not very big and parking can be a bit of a challenge when you arrive later in the day. It's also a very steep neigbourhood so if you don't snatch a parking close to the beach entrance, be prepared for a climb. Parking is save and surveillanced though. I recommend you bring an umbrella and a cooler box if you want to spend the day here – there is no shade on the beach. There are bathrooms and a little café but there is no supermarket close by. Also note that LLandudno, like many Cape Town beaches, can get super windy.
