Message from Gemma, Off Track Travel

The Stoltz Pool Campground, part of Cowichan River Provincial Park, is convenient when travelling the Pacific Marine Circle Route. 43 sites are situated in a forest close to the rushing Cowichan River, surrounded by a short loop hiking trail. Most of the sites are reservable four months in advance via the BC Parks website.

There are more hiking opportunities in other areas of the park, including the 20km long Cowichan River Footpath, which passes the 66 Mile Trestle.
