The Tokatea Lookout Walking Track, located near Coromandel Town area in Coromandel region, is a short and steep track that takes visitors to the lookout with spectacular views of the Coromandel landscape. The track only takes around 30 minutes to complete and features an on-site map which names many landmarks and offshore islands. Visitors should take note that dogs are not allowed and while embarking on their adventure should also make sure they utilize the cleaning station provided to stop kauri disease.

Around 1 minute from the carpark this amazing view is on offer and requires even less effort than the actual walking track. Beautiful at sunset, make sure you've got your wide angle or mid range lens handy for this one.
