Frederiksborg Castle in Hillerød is a Renaissance gem built by King Christian IV in the 17th century. Today, it houses The Museum of National History, showcasing 500 years of Danish history through portraits, paintings, and decorative arts. It has a beautiful, Versaille-inspired garden and even a moat!! You can take a mini-ferry around the moat, too, which is adorable.
