Bláhnjúkur, also known as the Blue Peak, is a popular day hike in Landmannalaugar, Iceland. The hike is usually done as a loop that takes around 3 hours to finish. The trail offers stunning views of the rhyolite mountains and is a bit of a tough climb, but totally worth it for the epic scenery. You can expect a few steep sections and some slippery spots, especially after rain.
QUICK NOTES:

Best season: Summer
Best time of day: Any but sunrise or sunset for the best light.
Nice to know: You can park on two sides but I prefer the east side - the walk is short from the parking lot on either side.
