The biggest and most luxurious castle of the Netherlands, dating back from the 13th century, located just outside Utrecht. Although De Haar Castle is among the top 20 of most visited Dutch museums it’s still lesser-known to most, and therefore more quiet. The castle is surrounded by the park and gardens.

You can visit the park for just €7, which covers more than 55 hectares. Or the inside of the castle as well, which is ope to visit as a museum, for a combination ticket of 19, without a guided tour, or with tour for €24.

It can be visited year-round and tickets for the park and/or museum should be bought online in advance.
