Apukka Resort is the ultimate resort for a magical getaway in Lapland. With cozy glass igloos and luxurious suites, you can snuggle up under the Northern Lights right from your bed.

I've stayed here three times already, during wintertime and in fall, so I think it's save to say that I LOVE this place. The different types of accommodations are beautiful and what I really like is that they offer basically EVERYTHING you can ask for when you are in Lapland.

They have their own husky, horse, and reindeer farm, you can ride with snowmobiles, grill sausages by a campfire in a tipi tent and there's a floating sauna. In wintertime they even build a sauna made from ice!

The resort is build by a lake, so in summertime you can also go kayaking or swimming. At the resort you can rent fatbikes and there's a really nice playground for children (with tube slides in wintertime). And if that's not even enough, you can also opt for one of their amazing northern light tours or take the shuttle to Santa Claus Village.

Because of all these amazing facilities, I would most definitely recommend this place to families with children. You don't even have to leave this place to get the full Lapland experience, which mean less traveling with your little ones.
