In our opinion, Taylor Lake is a highly underrated gem especially if you can visit in the fall when the larch trees surrounding the lake turn yellow.
The hike to Taylor Lake is 13.7 km round trip with over 900 meters of elevation gain, making it a moderate hike for most hikers. Once at the lake, there’s a beautiful nearby meadow which is full of larch trees as well. You’ll reach it if you continue hiking just a few hundred meters from Taylor Lake towards the Panorama Ridge.
