Junction Creek Trail makes for a great outing in the lesser known area of Kananaskis - Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park.

It is a 14 km round trip trail with around 500 meters of elevations gain that takes you to a beautiful multi-tiered waterfall. The trail is generally very gradual, but it does require river crossing right at the start. Therefore we only recommend this hike in the late summer as it can be dangerous early in the season. Make sure to bring water shoes!
