Big Beehive is a great extension of Lake Agnes trail and offers some of the best views in Canadian Rockies as you stand high up above Lake Louise.

This is a well marked trail that is not technical, but does includes some steep parts. However, the effort vs. reward ratio of this hike is unbeatable as you would usually have to hike much more challenging hikes to earn views like this one.

The round trip is 11 km with an elevation gain around 700 meters. However, you can easily combine this trail with other ones in the area as they are well connected. There is an option to continue further up to Devil's Thumb or down to Plain of Six Glaciers trail.

PS: Parking at Lake Louise gets extremely busy during the summer months. You'll either have to arrive super early or consider using Parks Canada Shuttle.
