🇧🇷 Chaves, é um belo município localizado no norte de Portugal. A cidade foi conquistada por Afonso I das Astúrias em 773 e reconquistada pelo reino de Portugal em 1160. Chaves tem uma mistura única de estruturas históricas e fontes termais, com muitos locais de interesse para visitar:

📍Ponte de Trajano Chaves tinha uma ligação importante nas vias romanas entre Braga e Astorga. É incrível como essa ponte de quase dois mil anos e continua firme e forte cumprindo seu papel. Observe que em duas partes da ponte foram colocados dois marcos romanos que tem inscrições latinas legíveis.

📍Castelo de Chaves e a Torre de menagem Se você gosta de vistas assim como a gente, é da Torre de Menagem que você terá a melhor paisagem sobre parte da cidade e o rio Tâmega.

A Torre hoje tem um Museu Militar e é rodeada por um belíssimo e bem cuidado jardim.

📍Varandas das casas - Observe o detalhe das varandas da Rua Direita, elas são todas coloridas e cheias de personalidade.

📍Praça de Camões Fica na parte antiga da cidade perto de outros monumentos: igrejas, estátuas, Castelo e Torre de Menagem e a Câmara Municipal.

📍Termas Romanas (Aquae Flavae) A alguns metros da Ponte Romana e na larga praça em frente ao tribunal local, tem o maior balneário da Península Ibérica e um dos maiores da Europa e do Império Romano. Desde os tempos dos romanos, as Termas Medicinais Romanas seriam o local onde era buscada a cura para problemas de saúde.

🇺🇸 Chaves, Portugal, is a picturesque municipality located in the northern part of the country. The city was conquered by Afonso I of Asturias in 773 and later reclaimed by the Kingdom of Portugal in 1160. Chaves boasts a unique combination of historical structures and thermal springs. There are many pointes of interest in the city:

📍Trajan's Bridge Ponte de Trajano Chaves held a significant connection in the Roman roads between Braga and Astorga. It's astonishing how this nearly two-thousand-year-old bridge still stands firm, serving its purpose. Take note that two Roman milestones with legible Latin inscriptions are placed on two parts of the bridge.

📍Chaves Castle and Towe Castelo de Chaves e a Torre de menagem If you appreciate breathtaking views as much as we do, the Tower is where you'll experience the best panorama of the city and the Tâmega River.

The Tower now houses a Military Museum and is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden.

Opening hours: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 5:30 PM. (Closed on holidays.)

📍House Balconies Varandas das casas - Pay attention to the intricately adorned balconies on Rua Direita; they are all vibrantly colored and full of character.

📍Camões Square Praça de Camões Situated in the historic part of the city, close to other monuments: churches, statues, the Castle and Tower, and the Town Hall.

📍Roman Baths Termas Romanas (Aquae Flavae) A few meters from the Roman Bridge and in the spacious square in front of the local courthouse, you'll find the largest bathhouse on the Iberian Peninsula and one of the biggest in Europe and the Roman Empire. Since Roman times, the Medicinal Roman Baths have been a place where people sought cures for health issues.
