Sand Harbor Beach in Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park is the perfect destination for a beach day. You won't believe your eye how clear, blue and green the water is in Tahoe. The Main Beach stretches 2,500 feet and has activities to suit everyone's interests, such as sunbathing, swimming, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and even SCUBA diving. There is also a Boat Launch facility with boat ramp hours from 6 am to 8 pm, seven days a week during the Summer season. The parking lot is open for kayaks, paddle boards, and vehicles with boats.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, visitors should be aware that the beach closes when it is full, so getting there early is key.

An entrance fee is required, but discounts are available for disabled and veteran visitors. Pets are allowed during the off-season only.
