The Skunk Train is a world-renowned passenger train that runs through the redwood forests of Northern California. With two routes, departing from Fort Bragg and Willits, the Skunk Train is an adventure that can be enjoyed all year round. Along the journey, passengers will experience spectacular views, tunnels, and trestle bridges from the Redwood Route. Those looking for something truly unique can take a ride on their two-person Railbikes, explore the redwoods with a walking tour, or enjoy delicious treats at their historic Glen Blair Bar. Whether it be around Christmas time or in the summer months, the Skunk Train offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience perfect for families and groups alike.
We took the "Mr. Skunk's Giant Christmas Tree" ride out of Willits, but have heard amazing things from friends who have done the "Glen Blair Bar" ride out of Fort Bragg which ends at an outdoor bar where you can enjoy some delicious beverages among the redwoods.
