Edinburgh Castle is a historical landmark located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The castle dates back to the 11th century and was a royal residence up until 1633. Throughout its history, the castle has served many purposes such as an arsenal, a prison, a treasury, and the home of the Honours of Scotland. In modern times it's become a major tourist attraction and is one of Scotland’s most renowned landmarks.
