About:
Atop Mt. Asama, the highest peak in Ise-Shima National Park at an elevation of 555 meters, you can enjoy a relaxing foot bath with spectacular views. From this vantage point, you'll be able to see not only Toba City but also the islands floating in the grand Ise Bay and even the distant Atsumi Peninsula. The healing effect of the bath is said to bring "peace of mind."
You can also hike up the 555-meter trail to reach the summit, which makes for a perfect hiking experience. At the summit's observatory, you'll find a bright red "Heavenly Post Box" waiting for you against the backdrop of a clear blue sky. If you send a letter from this post box, your heartfelt thoughts are sure to reach their destination.
