Fairy-tale Bavarian-inspired castle in Spain

Message from Jaime & Carolina

Butrón Castle, located in Gatika, Spain, has a fairy-tale look inspired by Bavarian castle models. Originally built in the Middle Ages, it underwent a complete rebuilding in 1878 by Francisco de Cubas. The castle, with its visually spectacular appearance, was created more as a hobby than a practical living space. Surrounded by a park with exotic plants, it was once Kate Middleton's dream wedding venue. Despite being closed to visitors, the castle remains under protection as a historic building in Spain.

You can not enter it but it is still worth paying it a visit, really beautiful castle here!
