Viking Cave on Koh Phi Phi Leh is an incredible natural attraction. It takes about 30 minutes to reach by long-tail boat from Tonsai Bay. The cave owes its name to old paintings of boats, including a Scandinavian Drakkar (Viking ship), found there. There is also a local legend that many years ago, sailors took refuge in the cave and survived by eating the bird's nests they found there. Today, Viking Cave is most popular for its swiftlet bird’s nest harvesting industry, which is believed to promote good health. Visiting the site offers a unique experience and insight into the fascinating culture and traditions of the island.
