Sometimes the simplest things in life are free, and this is one those spots.
The campsite itself is just a patch of grass that can only accommodate a couple of vans, but you have access to a wide, white sand beach just a one-minute walk from the parking area.
There are bathrooms available (bring a headlight—they're dark inside!), and also little firepits on the beach. The scene is just about perfect.
At midnight, when we visited, there were numerous groups of people hanging out, just drinking wine, playing soccer and board games, and casually enjoying strolling down the sand underneath the midnight sun.
The spot is just a few minutes away from Gryllefjord, which is where you''ll catch the ferry in the morning.
