Battery Point is a charming suburb in Hobart. This gorgeous area is full of cobblestone streets, heritage buildings, and breathtaking views of the Derwent River.

Take a stroll along the waterfront, soak up the views and sample some of the delicious food from one of the many cafes or restaurants. Be sure to check out the historic architecture, with many buildings dating back to the 1800s and if you're feeling up to it, take a walk to the Battery Point Lighthouse.

Our Photography Tip: On a clear day it’s hard to miss Mt Wellington/ kunyani rising over the town. Use a zoom lens to capture the old-world buildings with this epic backdrop.
