Locanda La Lina is a restaurant located in Piazza Marconi in Bagnone, Italy, a great village to visit in the Lunigiana that has gained rather than lost great eateries since covid.
The truffled tagliatelle dish at La Lina you'll find on the menu in fall is highly praised for its generous pile of truffles and delicious taste, for those who like the fungus.
As with many traditional food restaurants in the Lunigiana, ordering the antipasti will give you tastes of things you'll marvel at, foods you won't see elsewhere: a chestnut cake with fresh ricotta, torte d'erbe, and an onion tarte that will make you see that onions have character if they're grown in a place they like to grow in. See the picture. Don't drool on your keyboard.
Locanda La Lina is recommended in Slow Food's Osterie d'Italia for 2023, one of three in the Lunigiana.
And if you want a drink of something exotic later, or a great aperitivo before, there's a great bar steps away in the same piazza, Caffè Marconi - "Baretto". Most Italian restaurants don't serve cocktails, but bars are likely to do so.
