Located between Rotorua and Taupo, Waikite Valley Hot Pools is a great spot to soak in naturally heated geothermal waters straight from Te Manaroa Spring. You can choose between public pools or private ones if you’re after a more secluded experience. The whole place is surrounded by lush greenery, making it a super relaxing spot to unwind.

There’s also a campground here if you want to stay overnight, but to be honest, I found it a bit pricey, unpowered campervan sites are around $63. On the plus side, pool access is super affordable at just $25 per adult, making it one of the cheaper hot pool options in the area!
