Supplì Roma, located in Rome’s Trastevere neighborhood, is a much-loved spot for locals and travelers seeking classic Roman street food. Since 1979, this eatery has been serving up delicious deep-fried suppli – rice balls filled with tomato ragu and mozzarella cheese and coated in egg and breadcrumbs. Other fried delights such as arancini, calamari, codfish and mozzarella with anchovies are also available and all dishes use high-quality ingredients like carnaroli rice, 24-month aged Pecorino Romano and San Marzano tomatoes. Plus, it's just a stone's throw away from many must-see sites! If you’re looking to sample some of the best local snacks in Rome, head to Supplì Roma and enjoy!
