Message from Chris Burkard

It was breathtaking to see this "Waterfall of the Gods," with its nickname reflecting its god-like beauty. The history behind its name, whether it's from pagan statues being thrown in or from a legendary Viking leader, adds a mystical touch to the experience. And the fact that it's fed by a river from a 7000-year-old lava field only adds to its magic. If you're in Iceland, make sure to add Goðafoss to your list of must-sees.
