Cataract Gorge Reserve is a stunning natural reserve located 15 minutes walk from the centre of Launceston. It features an epic gorge, a suspension bridge, the world's longest single span chairlift, walking trails, and a swimming pool.

Definitely check out Cataract Gorge and First Basin, wander around the Victorian era gardens and bring your bathers for a swim in the pool which is open November - March (all free!) It costs $12 one way for an adult if you're keen to jump on the chairlift.
