One of the most special natural lakes of Crete, with fancy greenish and turquoise colors, surrounded by dense vegetation and mountain peaks.

It is the ideal place to stop, cycle on the lake and eat great cooked food. Check out the flocks of swans hanging around the people.

This place is wonderful, though it can get touristy and crowded during peak season. It’s an excellent location for families with little children. Best combined as a stopover when driving from West to East.
