"Il Spir" Observation Platform located in Flims in the canton of Graubünden offers an incredible view of the Ruinaulta (Upper Rhine Gorge), often referred to as the 'Swiss Grand Canyon'. Created by the retreat of the last glacier 10 000 years ago, the observation platform features a single pillar anchored in two places, holding back a tow cable that rises between the pine trees. On top of the pillar sits a triangular wooden platform, resembling the shape of a swift.
