The Glion viewpoint offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, including Lac Léman, the Swiss Alps and the city of Montreux. The easiest way to reach the Glion viewpoint is by taking the funicular railway from Montreux to Glion. The railway runs every 20 minutes and the journey takes about 15 minutes. However if you like climbing the stairs - there is a path of 1055 steps called Sentier du Télégraphe. It starts in Montreux as well. The viewpoint is located near the Glion Institute of Higher Education, a prestigious hospitality management school.
