Maple Pass Trailhead Park is a popular spot for hikers and nature lovers in Stehekin, Washington. This 6.5-mile loop trail offers stunning views of the Northern Cascades and is known for its vibrant fall colors. The trail starts at Rainy Lake Trailhead, where you'll find vault toilets and need a Northwest Forest Pass ($5/car/day). It's a challenging but approachable hike, with wildflowers in summer and snow lingering until mid-July. Most hikers opt to go counterclockwise for a gradual ascent and epic views of Black Peak. Don't forget your furry friend - dogs on a leash are welcome too!
