Dochula Pass is a mountain pass in Bhutan that sits at an elevation of 3,100 meters on the road from Thimphu to Punakha. It's famous for its 108 memorial chortens built by the Queen Mother in honor of Bhutanese soldiers. The pass offers stunning views of the Himalayas, with snow-capped peaks like Mt. Masanggang and Mt. Gangkar Puensum. Visitors can also enjoy the Druk Wangyal Lhakhang temple, colorful prayer flags, and the annual Dochula Druk Wangyel Festival held on December 13. It's a foggy and chilly spot, but between October and February, you can catch breathtaking panoramas of the Bhutan Himalayas.
