Elephant Freedom Project is a sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand, which has been caring for and rescuing elephants from abuse for over 25 years. It provides visitors with a unique experience to explore and get up close with these majestic creatures in their natural environment. Visitors can take part in activities such as preparing the elephants’ food, accompanying them on jungle or river hikes, watching them at play in mud or river, and exploring a nearby waterfall. The Full Day Elephant Experience includes all of this plus lunch in the mountains and the chance to feed the elephants. Guests can join in conversations about ethical elephant projects that are helping provide the animals a better life. A both inspiring and unforgettable experience, Elephant Freedom Project is a great place for singles, couples, and families alike.
