Tarnim Magic Garden, hidden atop Pom Mountain in the resort island of Ko Samui is truly a magical place. Home to many statues of Buddha and other aspects of Thai Buddhism such as birds, snakes and other animals, this enchanting site is an oasis for relaxation and peace. Founded by Khun Nim Thongsuk in 1976, at the age of 77, visitors and locals alike have been given the opportunity to admire its vast array of sculptures and waterfalls. Not only that, but they can get a glimpse into the life of the founder whose tomb remains onsite. With its remoteness and the difficult ascent it requires to get there, Tarnim Magic Garden offers a unique and unforgettable experience.
