Wat Suwan Khuha is an intriguing Buddhist cave temple located in the stunning region of Phang Nga near Phuket. Home to an enormous 15-metre long reverently golden reclining Buddha, this unique temple is fascinating both inside and out. The entrance gate is beautifully decorated, and the cavernous main chamber houses several standing Buddha images as well as striking murals and statues. An added bonus is the regular sighting of monks meditating while cats lounge lazing nearby. Many visitors are also drawn to the many caves and tunnels easy to explore in the park within the grounds of Wat Suwan Khuha. With so much majestic beauty to explore, this sacred site in breathtaking Phang Nga is often included on tours for an unforgettable day trip experience.
