Golden Gai is one of those places you’ve got to check out in Shinjuku.

It’s this tiny maze of cozy little bars, each one with its own vibe, and they only fit a few people at a time.

It feels super intimate, like you’re stepping into someone’s living room.

Just a heads-up though: a lot of the bars charge a small cover fee just to sit, so it’s a good idea to ask first or check for signs.

It’s such a cool, unique spot, perfect for a laid-back night of drinks and chatting with locals!
