The Devon Guide

I have spent the last four years since moving back to Devon spending every spare moment I have exploring. I've made it my mission to find the most beautiful beaches, sought out epic hiking trails, found the best spots to paddle board, explored the charming towns and villages and tried out some amazing restaurants and cafes. With two coastlines and one National Park, Devon has so much beauty to explore!

I created this guide because I want to share all my favourite spots with you. I know it can be overwhelming when you don't know a place well but want to ensure that you're not missing out on anything! Each spot on my map has been curated based on my knowledge and experience, so you can trust in the recommendations provided.

I also offer a bespoke trip planning service, if you need that extra assistance in making sure your trip is perfect for you.

I hope you love exploring the maps and itineraries as much as I have enjoyed getting out on adventures to build it!

To be fair, I’ve not used the app much at the moment because I’m lucky enough to live within the South Hams and know a lot of the walks already listed. However, there are a fair few that I’ll try out pretty soon I’m sure!

I recently purchased the guide about Devon which is done by: Devon good life. What an amazing and informative guide. So far using the interactive map, we’ve visited 3 beaches, as she offers directions in how to get to them and general information. I really enjoy to see what is around to visit in Dartmoor, south Devon and north Devon. I like the ease of the guide and the beautiful pictures she includes of the areas. I often use the guide when deciding on what beach to go to or where to go in Dartmoor. I’ll also use it for hotels, as we have our wedding anniversary coming up. Thank uou very much for producing this amazing guide of my new adoptive home! 🥰

If you follow me on social media, you'll know that I moved out of the city to pursue a slower life in the beautiful county where I was born, Devon. I spend my time exploring everything Devon has to offer, from stunning beaches, two National Parks, paddle boarding routes, hidden coves and amazing restaurants. I love nothing more than sharing my knowledge of how to make the most of your time in Devon, whether you live here, or are just visiting. There is so much to be explored, and I hope I can help everyone love this part of the world just a little bit more!
