Widecombe in the Moor is a charming village nestled in Dartmoor National Park.
The village is famous for its church, known as the Cathedral of the Moors, which boasts a tall tower and impressive size compared to the small population it serves. The village has a quaint and charming atmosphere, but is pretty small in size so you don’t need to allocate loads of time to your visit. There are gift shops, a local tea room and two pubs so it’s a great place to refresh after a walk on the moorland.
