Noss Mayo is a charming little village tucked away on the southern bank of the Yealm estuary in Devon.
With just over 500 residents, it's a peaceful spot perfect for boating, paddle boarding and coastal walks. There are two gorgeous riverside pubs serving up delicious seafood and traditional pub dishes. In the summer, there is the Yealm Regatta which is an event not to be missed as the village comes alive with activity and atmosphere.
The village has a rich history dating back to the 13th century, surviving the Black Death and even being a hotspot for smugglers back in the day.
If you only plan on stopping by for a few hours, make sure you time it around high tide, as this is really when the village is at its prettiest.
