Start Point Lighthouse, located in South Devon, is a charming and historic lighthouse that was built in 1836 to protect ships navigating the waters off Start Point. Standing at an impressive height of 92 feet, this cylindrical tower with its white exterior and crenellated parapet is a sight to behold. Over the years, it has undergone various upgrades, including the installation of a rotating optic and a more powerful lantern. Today, the lighthouse is open to the public during the summer months and is operated by Trinity House, you can even stay here. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
