Topsham, a charming town in Devon, England, sits on the east side of the River Exe, just north of where it meets the River Clyst. Topsham boasts a rich history as a historic port town. From its Roman roots to its Dutch-style houses and notable ships built here, Topsham has evolved into a sought-after place to live with picturesque architecture, scenic views, and easy access to nature reserves for birdwatching.

On a calm day, this stretch of the River Exe is excellent for paddle boarding, or you could kayak all the way south to Exmouth.

Whether you're strolling along the Exe Estuary, exploring the local museum, or enjoying community events like the Topsham Town Fair, this town offers a delightful blend of history, culture, and natural beauty.
