Budleigh Salterton is a charming seaside town nestled on the coast of East Devon, about 15 miles southeast of Exeter. The stunning red cliffs in the area are around 250 million years old! The beach is known for its pebble shoreline and beautiful cliffs that form part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along the South West Coast Path, offering breathtaking views of the coastline towards Sidmouth and Exmouth. The sea is clear and safe so it’s great for swimming or waterports such as paddle boarding and kayaking. Alongside the beach there are three beach cafes, beach huts (which are available for hire by the day or the week) and dogs are allowed at either end of the beach.
