Cockington is a charming village near Torquay in Devon, England, with old cottages and a rich history dating back to the Iron Age. It's about two miles from the center of Torquay and has some cool buildings like the Drum Inn, Almshouses, and Cockington Court. The village has a cricket field that used to be a medieval deer park, and there's even a therapy pony named Patrick who was informally elected mayor in 2022! Overall, Cockington is a quaint and picturesque spot with lots of character and stories to tell.
