The Rugglestone Inn is a charming and quirky Dartmoor pub located in the picturesque village of Widecombe in the Moor.
Originally a cottage, this historic inn has been serving delicious food since 1823, so if you’re looking for a cosy pub with plenty of character then look no further. Step inside and you'll be greeted by a bar with a crackling wood burner and rooms filled with laughter and warmth.
The menu is filled with locally sourced produce and plenty of traditional dishes so there is bound to be something for everyone. And don't forget about the real ales straight from the barrel and a comprehensive wine list!
In the summer, I love sitting out in the pub garden, where there are often chickens roaming around. The little stream that runs alongside the garden, and views of the moorland make for a pretty idyllic location.
