Tranquil stroll to scenic beach

Message from Ashley Elliott

Opera Point Walk in the Coromandel Peninsula offers a relaxed stroll along an old tramway line to a charming beach that makes you think you've been transported to Fiji!
With easy access from Whangapoua this short walk is perfect for a quick nature fix or a leisurely beach outing and is very family friendly.
Lots of huge trees were uprooted in the recent storm and you have to walk through the beach along sections - your shoes will get wet but its worth it!
