What truly captivated us in Marialva was undoubtedly its castle. It is not merely a castle or a set of ruins; it harbors numerous points of interest within its walls.

To visit Marialva Castle, head to the tourist information office near the castle and acquire your entrance ticket (we recommend opting for a guided tour, which costs the same as the entrance fee). As you explore the castle, pay attention to every detail – each stone has its own story...

• Chapel of Santa Bárbara: Offering a spectacular view of the lower part of Marialva Village.

• Ruins of Marialva Castle: Dating back to the 11th century, this castle provides a glimpse into the past.
