Glacier Point is a popular destination in Yosemite National Park, California. Located more than 3,000 feet above Curry Village in the Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point offers stunning views of Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the High Sierra. This is easily one of the best scenic views in the park.
Hiking trails allow visitors to take in the scenery from different vantage points throughout the park. Visitors can also enjoy cross-country skiing in the winter–ski or snowshoe 10.5 miles to get to the viewpoint. If you're not looking to hike, you can park in the nearby parking lot and take a short walk to enjoy the views.
There are ranger programs and interpretive programs available year-round for visitors to learn more about the area, as well as excellent stargazing and birdwatching opportunities. With all that, Glacier Point certainly promises an unforgettable experience!
