Tucked away on the Causeway Coast is the incredible Elephant Rock, a rock formation in that looks just like an elephant!

From Ballintoy Harbour follow the coastal path west towards White Park Bay in the direction of Elephant Rock. After crossing two fences, you will find the rock formations, including Elephant Rock in the sea. Legend has it that the rock formation is the remains of an ancient elephant fleeing a volcanic eruption but we’re inclined to believe it’s the forces of nature at play! Either way, it’s one of the beautiful , secret sites on the Causeway Coast. Exploring this magnificent formation is a unique experience that should not be missed while visiting Ballintoy Harbour, you’re going to love it!

🎬Fun Fact: The beach scene in the Dungeons & Dragons movie was filmed at the elephant rock location at Ballintoy!
