Holy Mary Perybleptos is an awe-inspiring 13th century chapel located in Ohrid, Macedonia that boasts of impressive frescoes, strikingly beautiful architecture and a rich and vibrant history. The facade of the church contains little to no windows on its left and right sides making it appear tight amidst its length - a unique feature unmatched anywhere else in the world. Furthermore, its roof resembles a child's box game as one roof emerges from the next. This magnificent structure is widely renowned for its timeless artistry and masterful paintings depicting scenes from the bible which, according to historians, is an uncommon feat. The museum at the church houses some of the most mesmerising icons from over 1100 years ago, having graced the covers of magazines such as National Geographic. Exploring this majestic place and space is nothing short of a captivating adventure fit for everyone.
