Farm Tomita in Furano is undeniably beautiful, especially during the peak lavender season in July when vibrant purple fields stretch as far as the eye can see. I've been here multiple times with friends and on dates, and each visit offers a stunning experience—especially on a clear day when you can take in the full scenery. That said, I have mixed feelings about fully recommending it. The timing of the lavender bloom coincides with the hot summer season, and standing under the blazing sun can feel uncomfortable despite the gorgeous views.
If you're a fan of flowers and can handle the heat, it's worth the visit, but for some, the intense summer weather might take away from the experience. As a tip, going early in the morning or late in the afternoon can help beat the heat and crowds. Despite my reservations, the charm and beauty of Farm Tomita still leave an impression, but keep in mind the conditions when planning your visit!
