This is my favorite tent sauna spot in Japan! From December to March, the water temperature drops to single digits, making it an invigorating experience. For tent saunas, I recommend visiting between April and June or October and November, as the temperatures are just right. I tried it in August, but the heat—around 25°C—made it a bit too intense for my liking. In contrast, if you visit in February, the water temperature is near 0 and the lake sometimes freezes completely.
If you’re coming just to swim, summer is the perfect time to visit and enjoy the warm weather.

It’s surprisingly affordable at just around 3,000 yen per person—definitely worth it for the experience!
