Gígjagjá is an incredible cave located in southern Iceland that looks strikingly like the beloved Yoda from Star Wars. Visitors can enjoy spectacular views of nature, as well as capture some creative photographs of themselves levitating rocks in the air with their Jedi skills. The cave first formed due to a volcanic eruption underneath a glacier many years ago. It became visible when the beach started to dry up and the sand was washed away by the floodwaters caused by Katla volcano’s eruption in the 1300's. This awesome tourist spot can be accessed from the Ring Road, just off the highway, and can be explored for free without restrictions as to hour, or paying any entrance fees!
