Skógafoss is a breathtaking 60m (200ft) tall waterfall located in Skógar, Iceland. It features a 25m (82ft) wide curtain of mist and crashing water that promises to take any spectator’s breath away. The waterfall is said to be the hiding place of a treasure by the area's first Viking settler, Þrasi Þórolfsson. But beware, getting too close to this natural wonder may lead to being drenched from its spray. On sunny days, you can also expect to see a single or even double rainbow formed by the mist, providing for an absolutely gorgeous view! Skógafoss is certainly worth a visit!
